    Howard L. “Butch” Harris, 64, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin.  Butch was born February 1, 1955 in Monterey Park, CA to Cliff and Colleen “Trout” Emery.  He was raised and lived in the Carthage and Golden City Areas.  Butch worked at Morgan Pallets and loved to fish, hunt, bowl and watch old western movies.     Richard Getty, 76, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield.  Richard was born September 26, 1942 in New Castle, PA to Ralph and Mary Jane “Shoaff” Getty and was a 22-1/2 year veteran of the United States Army.  He was a long-time resident of Avilla, MO and worked for the Jasper County Highway Department. Richard was united in marriage to Linda Wilkins on August 17, 1989 in Avilla, MO; she survives.
