Akmed M. Mokhtar, 79, of Lebanon, died Saturday evening, Aug. 10, 2019, in Mercy Hospital Springfield.
He is survived by his wife Beth, of the home; two daughters, Engie Mokhtar, of Alexandria, Va. and Julie Whaley, of Lebanon; three sons, Tamer Mokhtar, of Richmond, Va.; Tracy Key, of Hattiesburg, Miss., and Brian Key, of Kansas City; one sister, Samia Nohr El Din Mustafa, of Cairo, Egypt; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Akmed M. Mokhtar will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12, 2019, at the Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon with the Rev. David Brown officiating. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery, under the care and direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon.
Visitation will be following the service Monday in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions to Hillcrest Baptist Church or Metavivor Cancer Research may be made through the funeral home.
